I was scammed involving T mobile and an individual, what can I do?

I decided that I wanted the new Sidekick 2008. So I went onto craigslist and there was an individual selling 1 an some other tmobile phones for $175, which was great because the phone retails at 300. So I emailed her and we began talking. She says that she works for T mobile and uses her “bonus checks” to sell Tmobile pones. So what happened was I gave her only my cell number and the name on the account. She goes in and adds a credit of 460.32 (something like this) That was suppose to cover the phone, the shipping, and my upcoming bill. So I ordered the phone through T mobile.. I called customer care and did this. Later that day once I got my confirmation number and felt comfortable doing this.. I went to western union and wired her 250.00. She makes a profit because her bonus gift check that was loaded onto my account can only be used for t mobile products and services she says. So basically I get the check for my new phone and she gets the cash.. works for both of us.. I save money and she makes money. Sounded good to me. 2 days later, my phone comes in. I thought everything worked as planned. And then today I get a text message from t mobile saying to pay my bill. And I was like ***? So i called t mobile and the customer rep. says that I owe my 413 for my bill and a phone and I said “There was a credit added of 460.” And she says.. yes I see that, but it says the check bounced. I was in shock. I just hung up and didn’t know what to say. So I called back and talked to a different guy and told him the entire story and he submitted a report to their fraud department.
I know that the credit was added because I seen it on my online account before I wired the money and when I ordered the phone.. the customer service rep. said it did show up. I would think this person really does for t mobile because she had acsess to my account.. I only gave her my name and number.

So I now owe T mobile 413 dollars that I don;t have and lost 250.
What can I do if anything. The only info I have on this person is there first and last name.. their city and state and their email and aim. I also have the western union receipt. Some one help please.

What you need to do is keep the receipt and contact the craiglist company to grab info on this person. Perhaps he/she used a false name or even false city etc to cover his/her tracks so that may be hard.

Believe it or not, sometimes TMobile customers don’t have to offer social security number, they just give the phone # and name and speak to a representative. I would talk to Tmobile and find out how that happened.
